I am beyond honored to announce that I was selected as the 1st Place winner of the 2019 Best and Brightest Award for Drama and Performing Arts.
This award would not have been possible without the help of so many amazing people who have been by my side every step of the way. My family, my friends, my amazing teachers, the faculty and staff of Leon High School, all of my amazing mentors through the years: you all are the people who have helped me and encouraged me to shoot for the stars and sometimes when I fall a little, are the first people to push me right back up.
To all of the finalists and winners, know how much all of you inspire me. I was sitting there in awe of all of your accomplishments and cannot wait to hear about what you are going to do in the future.
Thank you to the committee for trusting me with this honor and for believing in me and helping me pursue my dreams.
